A Playroom for an Artist - with Danielle Krysa

Danielle Krysa Studio Panorama.jpg

I recently photographed the lovely and funny Danielle Krysa, aka The Jealous Curator - author, artist, art curator and podcaster with a MASSIVE following on Facebook and Instagram. Danielle who writes from the heart, helps creative types find their voice, and simultaneously silence the inner critic. Get Danielle’s best-selling book Your Inner Critic is a Big Jerk and it will help you overcome that annoying, nagging critic.

Fun Slideshow!

Society6 Shoot

Check out the slideshow above, for some of the photos we shot of Danielle for Society6 in the new studio space in her 100 year old house. Society6 provided artwork, pillows, mugs and other fun products that added to the space, giving it an uplifting feeling. (Think playroom for artists.)

Publishing Whirlwind

Krysa now has four books published. Her second book Creative Block made it to the My Modern Met book list titled 20 Books Every Artist Needs on Their Bookshelf. If that wasn’t already enough Krysa recently signed another book deal for a children’s book on being and becoming an artist which will be published in October 2020 by Prestel. (Random House) Wowzers!

First Solo Show

Danielle’s very first solo show featuring 20 pieces, was in 2019 at the Mayberry Fine Art dealer in Toronto. Check out the article on Create Magazine for more on the show.
