Thomas Alan Budd was a top Canadian investment banker when he retired in 2009 to Kelowna, BC., where be subsequently became a well known philanthropist.

Tom Budd has survived the tragic suicides of both his sons, Dillon and Payton Budd. His loss has been the advent of a new journey and purpose – to share his story, to give people hope, and help get them through the hardest times in their lives by speaking out.

On April 17, 2019 Tom will be the guest speaker at Penticton’s Vanilla Pod Restaurant at Poplar Grove Winery for a YES Project and Foundry Penticton fundraiser, both of which are youth-based initiatives in Penticton.

The event also features singer Jessica Singleton, and artist Jenny Long who will be doing a live-art painting for auctioning off at the end of the evening. See Penticton Western News story on the upcoming event.

Tom Budd is a captivating speaker who brings his unique high energy brand of empowerment to those who have the opportunity to hear him.

Through our video production company, Storyboard Productions, we filmed and produced the Thomas Alan Budd story.

We have been working with Tom Budd since August of 2018 to capture the essence of this extraordinary man and tell his story in a compelling way that accurately reflects Tom’s journey – which at times can be gut-wrenching.

Leading by example Tom Budd is now known as ‘The Motivator’ – empowering people to overcome and deal with their own adversity.
