The gardens at Cetinale are one of Italy's most appreciated. Lord Lambton purchased Villa Cetinale from the Chigi family in 1978 and has dedicatedly worked on restoring and maintaining the villa and the estate. His new formal garden is based on Roman designs and new planting and restorative works are continuous.
