Working remotely with Petzl on advertising projects has often necessitated that we arrange and art direct product photo shoots without the client being there. The process is managed using email or FTP to send digital images from the photoshoot, directly to the client for their approval.

The ad needed to convey that the gear had three functions; as a belay device, a climber could ascend, as a rappeling device he could descend, and a third function as a braking device had to be self-evident.
