Our Creative Services section is an overview of the categories in which we provide design services. We handle all creative and production elements of a project and also have a solid group of suppliers that includes writers and translators, that we draw from when required.

We’ve created brochures and catalogs for companies with products as varied as children’s clothing, fashion, building materials, and rock climbing gear. As catalog and brochure designers, for most of our print projects we also deal with other project elements from styling and shooting product to obtaining print quotes, handling press checks and arranging shipping both locally and overseas.
The logos that we have created for our clients almost always employ illustration combined with type, whether output is printed, embossed, debossed or a foil finish. Once the logo design is complete we supply clients with file types ranging from jpegs to Illustrator files for use in any application and generally in three color formats black and white, 4 color process, and RGB.
We use our illustration skills for logo design and to convey a concept when photography is less appropriate, or when images are not available. When Montrail, a Portland based outdoor footwear manufacturer wanted to promote their IntegraFit technology, illustration was used to convey the message. This was also the case for the Making a Difference Foundation, a non-profit from the Okanagan, as the photography required to represent their many programs, didn’t exist.
For the packaging projects we’ve been involved with, responsibility has extended from conceptuals to choosing appropriate stock and creating die-lines for final artwork. Primarily the output has been on a paper or card stock but we have also printed on polypropylene and other such substrates. We liaise with the client’s printer to ensure that the output is as specified or will work with our own and be on hand for press checks.
We have produced posters for different types of industries, events and product promotions. For the launch of Stinger coolers by the Mark Anthony Group, a manufacturer of wines and alcoholic beverages, the posters we created reinforced product identity for a promo t-shirt campaign that we also developed.
Our trade show graphic clients are predominantly from the outdoor retail industry and include companies such as Arc’teryx, Petzl America Sport, Boreal, and Granger’s USA. While we do not deal with the design of the booth structure itself we will work directly with the display manufacturer on behalf of the client or will work to graphic specifications provided by the client.
Promotion of a specific product or event is at the core of our experience in creating t-shirt graphics, although we also have a number of manufacturers that we have worked with to develop t-shirt lines for retail sales. The t-shirt suppliers we deal with stock organic and 100% cotton top quality t-shirts which we provide to clients if required.
Web clients include the tourism industry, outdoor gear manufacturers, and non-profits. Our expertise extends to creation and development of HTML, XHTML, CSS, Flash, and database-driven websites. Compatibility for client content management is enabled by the use of a web design software application such as Adobe’s (Macromedia) Contribute, allowing for easy updates and edits on a WYSIWYG basis.
